Travel is about recreation, and if you are a golfer, that is your ultimate in recreation. I went down there and I was very well researched in the area courses before I even set foot on land as I got off the jet. I new how and where to golf Saint Augustine at the best area courses. Not the kind of clubs that are members only, obviously, but there are great courses given the climate and the flat terrain. The area is just simply beautiful, and playing golf there is almost always a wonderful experience, unless it is thundering. That is not safe regardless of where you are playing.
Saint Augustine is worth a visit if you are in the area, but the hardcore golfers will be spending their time on the links, driving around on carts and enjoying the chance to golf Saint Augustine while there on vacation.
